Our Philosophy |
|
We are a small show kennel located in the central part of Washington State near Yakima. We breed, raise and show AKC registered Silky Terriers and Papillons. We believe in breeding only to improve the breeds we love. All of the breeding dogs owned by us are health tested as recommended by each breed’s parent club to insure the best quality and health of the dogs we produce.
At Karisma, we believe in quality and excellence in the dogs we raise, show and sell. We strive to produce sound healthy dogs with good temperaments. We feel physical soundness and mental soundness are equally important. We look for the total package in our dogs. We try to produce a dog beautiful to look at that exhibits breed type, sweet enough to make a wonderful pet, confident enough to take the stress of dog shows, intelligent enough to learn relatively easily, and healthy enough to live a long life.

We breed on a limited basis and rarely have more than one litter per breed each year.
Our puppies are born in our bedroom and when old enough are moved to the main part of the house. We pride ourselves on well socialized puppies. Our dogs all live in our house and not outside in kennels. We keep our numbers small so that we can give each dog quality time every single day. We pride ourselves on having wonderful pets and devoted companions that are excellent show dogs.
We may occasionally have a puppy, adult or retired show dog available to a new forever home. All of our pets are sold either already spayed or neutered, or on a spay/neuter contract.
